Moonlight

This years Best Picture winner at the Oscars and while many were on the La La Land bandwagon it does sound like just as many adored this movie as well. When people ask me what this movie is about I like to simplify it and say that its like Richard Linklater's Boyhood almost about one boy growing into a man but his surroundings are a lot tougher in the area he grows up in of Miami and it basically shows you by the end of the man he becomes and why he makes the choices he makes. I have heard numerous times how powerful this film is and if you haven't watched this yet go check it out for the performances alone as they are amazing,

Nocturnal Animals
